Workshop opportunities
In the compact online format Knowledge Nugget, you will gain practical insights into digital teaching and learning tools as well as innovative concepts for higher education in just 45 minutes.
The next Knowledge Nugget will take place on Thursday, 24 September 2026, from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. The topic is “Assessment in the Age of ChatGPT”. The session will be presented by Prof. Dr. York Hagmayer (University of Göttingen).

Online Teaching Dialogue (OLD)
The Online Teaching Dialogue (OLD) regularly provides practical ideas and concrete tips on teaching and learning in online settings. The next session on 13 October 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. will focus on “Hands-on RAG: Customising an AI chatbot with your own materials”.

New training opportunities
In September, several exciting events on digital teaching, AI and innovative teaching formats will once again take place.
On 22 September 2026, the Twillo workshop “AI and OER in Practice: Enhancing OER with AI in Versatile and Legally Compliant Ways” will take place. The workshop will demonstrate how artificial intelligence can support the creation and further development of open educational resources. In addition to practical applications, legal issues relating to the use of AI and OER will also be addressed. Further information and registration are available here.
On 28 September 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., the “DLHN Consultation Hour – AI & Examinations” will take place as part of the KI.kompakt event series. Lecturers can raise their questions about the use of AI in examinations and discuss possible solutions together with experts. Further information and access to the event are available here.
