We are cooperating with the team of Rescuemation to offer a unique topic for a student research project. Students will have the opportunity to perform an academic experiment utilizing a software prototype that trains novice medical personnel through virtual patient cases.

The central question is: What kind of feedback actually helps learners get better at diagnosing? After working through a simulated emergency, participants receive one of four types of feedback. The simplest just reveals the correct diagnosis. The others go further: a guideline-based model solution, a step-by-step review of their own actions, or detailed AI-generated feedback on what they did. A second case of the same illness, presented in a different way, then shows how much of that learning carries over.

You can find more information on the topic in this newspost: Research Project: Which Feedback Works When Training Medical Diagnosis?
