Success story from our chair's start-up course
Julius Bremer (22) and Peter Naumann (24), both business administration students at the WiWi faculty, won first place in the "Start-up potential" category of the LIFT-OFF 2025 competition with
their platform Complego, which they developed in the "Founding an IT-based start-up" module by Prof. Adam. Complego is a maintenance platform for small and medium-sized industrial companies that documents maintenance work directly on the machine using NFC or barcode tags, reports faults on the move, automatically prioritizes them and assigns them to the responsible department.
The idea for Complego came about when Julius Bremer experienced chaotic maintenance documentation during an internship. The project then gained momentum in Prof. Adam's course “Founding an IT-based start-up”. Here, with the help of market analyses, content for creating a business plan and prototype tests, the two students had the opportunity to transform their previously loose idea
into a viable project. In doing so, they discovered their enthusiasm for founding,
combined theory and practice from their studies and received the necessary support from Prof. Adam's feedback and contact with the Transfer &
Startup Hub to further expand Complego.
If you would also like to develop or promote a start-up idea: The module will be offered again next semester (under a different name): Gründe dein Digitales Startup – Planen, Pitchen, Realisieren
Further information on the LIFT-OFF competition and Complego can be found on the WiWi faculty website.
