Transdisciplinary project to research authenticity and trust in organic food (AVOeL)

In the AVOeL project, university didactics is working with other project partners to research the social perception of the authenticity of organically produced food and trust in it. A key aim of the project is to develop innovative communication approaches (interactive documentaries, information and educational materials and workshop formats) to promote knowledge of and trust in organic food.

The programme of the section for teaching and learning in higher education in cooperation with the Centre for Modern Indian Studies (completed)

From August to December 2020, a cooperation project took place with the Centre for Modern Indian Studies (CeMIS) and University Didactics. Supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), an English-language online workshop program was developed, which was aimed at teachers from the 14 Indian partner universities and institutions of CeMIS as well as teachers from Cemis.
The program focused on topics such as “Diversity and Intercultural Settings” and “Teaching and Learning in Digital Settings” in order to meet the specific interests of the teachers. The program benefited greatly from the subject-specific, location-specific and cultural characteristics and experiences of all participants. This was evident not only in language differences (also due to different mother tongues among Indian students), but also in different teaching and learning approaches.

Science and career-oriented competencies in teaching (completed)

The project “Science and career-oriented skills in teaching” (WiBeKo) promotes the development of action-oriented skills in studies across all subject areas. To this end, teaching staff and teaching projects are supported in an advisory capacity, method guides are published, didactic workshops are offered for teaching staff and workshops are held to optimize module and curricula. The project is financed from study quality funds and is carried out in cooperation with the Methods Center of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
