Welcome to the International Writing Lab!
Whether it’s a report or a master’s thesis – writing is essential for academic success. At the International Writing Lab, we support students from all faculties in developing their academic and professional writing skills. This includes a critical look at AI, especially text-generating tools.

In recent semesters, the International Writing Lab has faced significant funding cuts. As a result, some workshops can no longer take place, and events such as the Long Night of Procrastinated Papers have had to be cancelled. In addition, fewer spots are available for writing consultations, which may lead to waiting times when scheduling appointments.
The International Writing Lab Offers
Writing Consultation
In our writing consultations, you’ll have space to discuss your individual questions and challenges. Together with a consultant, you’ll develop strategies tailored to your writing project and workflow.
Writing Workshops
In our workshops, you’ll explore academic and professional text genres, experiment with different writing strategies, and reflect on your writing process together with others. In most workshops, you can also earn ECTS credits within competencies. Find the current program here.
MultiConText
Multilingualism as a resource for writing! In the MultiConText workshops and consultations, you’ll learn to make the most of your languages in your writing processes.
