Our focus on the support of female founders

Starting a startup is a challenging but also very enriching journey. However, women often face additional hurdles. Studies show, for example, that female founders are often confronted with fewer supportive role models. Women are still underrepresented in the startup scene, especially in technology and innovation areas. Access to networks, capital or targeted support is therefore often much more challenging and requires targeted support structures. With the EFRE project "Gründungsräume des Transfer & Startup Hub Universität Göttingen", we therefore focus on Female Entrepreneurship and want to support women and female readers specifically in the pre-startup process.

Our focus on Female Entrepreneurship provides female founders not only with resources and expertise, but also a supportive network that helps them to realize their ideas and grow successfully. Through tailored consulting, workshops and mentoring, we want to actively address the specific challenges that women often face in entrepreneurship and make it easier for them to become self-employed. We also aim to increase the visibility of female founders and emphasize their successes in the startup scene more strongly. Equal support for female founders is not only a step towards greater equality of opportunity, but also an important contribution to promoting diversity and innovation in the economy.
