  Business educators work in various settings, primarily vocational schools, but also companies and further education institutions. Demand for qualified vocational education specialists remains stable, particularly given demographic changes and the shortage of skilled labour in Germany.

  
  
  

  Traditionally, the Business and Human Resource Education degree programme primarily prepares students for a future career as a teacher at commercial vocational schools. In Germany, after graduating with a bachelor's degree, you must complete a postgraduate master's programme to enter the teaching preparatory service ("Referendariat") at commercial vocational schools.

  
  
  

  This interdisciplinary degree programme enables you to develop hybrid skills, combining your specialist knowledge with interdisciplinary abilities. What salaries do business and economics graduates earn?

In Germany, employees in the field of economics earn an average annual salary of 63,822 euros. This equates to a gross monthly salary of 5,319 euros.

On average, the starting salary for an economist is 56,592 euros gross per year. This equates to a gross monthly salary of 4,716 euros.
